Something is clearly wrong with the Arizona Cardinals’ 2026 NFL schedule release video. Else why would every comment scream: “If being the worst team in the NFL wasn’t enough punishment, our Socials Team is posting AI slop now lmfao f**k y*u.” Another roared, “Get this AI slop out of here this is genuinely embarrassing. Awful team awful owner awful social team. We’re the joke of the league for a reason and you losers are the tip of the iceberg. You should feel ashamed.”

Cardinals face heat over social media for 2026 NFL schedule release video

The Arizona Cardinals’ social media team released their official 2026 NFL schedule video on May 14, like all other 31 teams did. The video looked like a Microsoft Teams meeting among the mascots of all the teams lined up against Arizona in 2026. Some teams from their schedule did not have mascots [New York Giants, New York Jets, and Detroit Lions]. The Jets and Giants are the two teams among four others, including the Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Chargers that don’t have mascots. For the Lions, they chose a picture of an actual lion instead of Roary the Lion, the Detroit Lions’ official spirited mascot. Anyhow, all the mascots seemed to be doing their own thing. It looked very fuzzy and our eyes kept rolling from here to there, trying to grasp for one constant movement.
But to no avail! The whole meeting, like an actual team meeting, looked fuzzy/confusing. To add more-weird flavor to it, there was a meeting chat where teams which did not have a mascot were mocked [Chargers in particular]. That seems low… When New Orleans’ mascot Gumbo, anthropomorphic Saint Bernard dog, began flexing muscle to the “Who Dat” chants, Big Red, Arizona’s mascot muted him ferociously. Clearly linked to the Sept. 2025 matchup where the Cardinals numbed the chants of the crowd by defeating the Saints [20-13]. Anyhow, in today’s time, AI [artificial intelligence] makes it easy for everything and anything. The Cardinals’ schedule release could have been AI-generated/made…because it showed subtle signs and cybercitizens picked up on those quickly. “Even for AI slop, this is awful,” wrote one user.A user wondered, “Holy crap this was bad. Made it about 45 seconds and it was just annoying and ridiculous. Not sure who gave this the green light, but they need to have all decision-making powers removed.” Another user would have preferred a post instead of the video: “I would have honestly rather had nothing but a post. I didn’t even watch it all, as it made 0 sense to me and 0 entertainment.” Another said, “What??!! This hurt my brain!” A third user expressed, “Nobody should show up to any Cardinals games just cuz of this. Not like any fans left would want to go to the games given how sh*t they are.”

Cybercitizens take a subtle dig at Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill

Arizona finished 2025 season with a 3-14 record, 2024 season with an 8-9 record, 2023 season with a 3-14 record, and 2022 season with a 4-13 record. The last winning season was in 2021 with a 11-6 record. They came second in the NFC West. Anyhow, their fans are angry. They desperately want wins. Having hit rock bottom for four seasons, they look for an ounce of motivation wherever they could find. With the 2026 schedule release video, the fans had hoped for a rebuttal [off-gridiron]. A new kind of motivation. But that too fans say could have been AI-generated. They are losing faith in the team. And how do they express it? By taking a subtle dig at the owner Michael Bidwill. One post read, “Really? We’re using f**king AI now? I guess no one with a creative mind wants to waste their time with this d*gsh*t franchise, so we’re using AI now. F**k Y*u Bidwill.” A user declared, “Social media team just as bad as the football team.” Another said, “Cheap schedule release from a cheap franchise with a cheap owner.” A user declared, “Its time to bid farewell to Bidwill. This s**ks.” A user had a message: “Embarrassing. Bidwill, sell the team. Every single fan wants you to sell the team. Legitimately every single fan.”
